Happy Sunday Creative Army!
Here's hoping you had a happy, healthy, and creative week. What is your coffee of choice today? I had my first americano in weeks recently and it was glorious. Let's dive in - grab your coffee because I've got your weekly dose of content coming in hot.
First up, Vanity Fair sat down with real-life astronaut Chris Hadfield to discuss how Hollywood has portrayed space in the movies. Chris talks about the authenticity of the visuals used, as well as the actual scientific possibility of many scenes depicting outer space. See examples from Interstellar, Gravity, Armageddon, The Martian, Passengers, First Man, Ad Astra, Hidden Figures, and even the animated film Wall-E.
Next up, Indy Mogul has put together a very timely video about how to make your webcam footage look better. Whether you are shooting a project remotely, or simply taking meetings from home, this video is a great tool to help up your production value. Noted cinematographer Larry Fong (Super 8, Kong: Skull Island, Batman vs. Superman) will talk you through some simple ways to use what you already have at home to make your video chats and/or shoots look much more cinematic.
