Happy Sunday, Creative Army!

Have you had a creative weekend so far? I have some content here for you that is sure to get the creative juices flowing, so grab your coffee, and let's dive in.

First up, in this video from In Depth Cine, he’s exploring one of cinema’s most immersive techniques, the long take. Evaluating what makes long takes effective, where the challenges are in capturing them, and what methods and equipment can be used to successfully pull them off. When used correctly the emotional and immersive impact of long takes can elevate important moments of your story and grip the audience in real time. Whether you’re in prep for your next production or you’re conceptualizing the next story that you want to tell, understanding this popular camera method is an invaluable tool to have at your disposal.

Just as it’s important to set your vision for what you want and to go after it. It’s easy in the day-to-day to get caught up in what’s right in front of you. Your script. Your family. Your neighbor’s friend’s dog’s birthday party. Through the chaos, here’s a reminder for you…make a commitment to yourself for 10 minutes a day to set a vision of what you want to attain. Every. Single. Day. Set your vision for big things and go after them. You can attain anything with the support of a great community like the one we have here at Stage 32. I see it happening here every day. Learn more in this video!
