Happy Motivation Monday Stage 32!

I hope you are having a beautiful and creative week so far. As many of you know, in the past 10 years we have had some pretty epic Stage 32 success stories.

From Ireland-based screenwriter Ronika Merl optioning her first script to Pennsylvania-based screenwriter Joseph Downey taking his feature Chick Fight (which went on to star Malin Akerman, Bella Thorne, and Alec Baldwin) from pitch to post through Stage 32, we have celebrated some amazing wins within our community.

2021 has brought even more wins to the Stage 32 community. For starters, since January 2021, we have had 706 of script requests and 544 of meeting requests from Stage 32 pitch sessions

Furthermore, countless Stage 32 members have optioned projects, gotten representation, gotten jobs, and connected with fellow entertainment creatives and professionals around the world via networking on Stage 32 in 2021 alone.

Hello! My name is Taylor C. Baker and I am incredibly honored to help our community share their stories on the Stage 32 blog, and it is true joy personified! If you have a pitch for a Stage 32 blog post - I would love to hear it! Email me at taylor@stage32.com with your pitch and your favorite movie + corresponding snack (just for fun!)

A little about me... I am an actress, writer, and professional goofball.

On-screen, you can find me on the award-winning digital series FEMALE FRIENDLY, which I had the pleasure of co-creating and writing as well. Additionally, my dimples graced the tv-sphere on LUCIFER (Fox/Netflix), where I played a southern roller derby queen opposite of the devil himself. My natural southern roots strike again when I play Helene on POLYGONERZ, now streaming on Amazon. I recently had the pleasure of playing a surprise villain in WHAT ABOUT MOLLY?, my first leading role in a feature, a job I got through Stage 32!

On stage, I'm known as the comedienne "Trixie Treble", where I have been humbly dubbed "Lucille Ball in a Garter Belt". Simply put: adorned in bedazzled ensembles, I sing parodies while expertly executing awkward dance moves - usually while eating a baguette (or a cupcake, depending on my mood).

Recently, I launched The Great Taylor C. Baker Show where I am baking my way through The Great British Bake Off technical challenges in hopes to live up to my namesake and become a better baker. Follow along with my baking (mis)adventures on YouTube and Instagram @taylorcbaker
