On Stage With RB (June 2016) - Special Guests Announced!

It’s that time again! Time for the June 2016 edition of On Stage with RB! Taking place Wednesday, June 29th at 1PM PDT!

Every month our Founder & CEO, RB, brings on special guests who work in the industry, such as filmmakers and executives to offer advice to our community in an online webinar. Plus, he discusses the best way to use Stage 32 to help your career.

Afterwards, he opens up the floor to you for a live 90 minute Q&A session about anything and everything in the industry. Best of all, this is FREE, exclusively for Stage 32 members... and it certainly is educational and entertaining!

Each On Stage with RB has hit capacity with 2,000 members attending from all over the world!

Special Guest: Zahida Kazar

One of the guests joining RB is Zahida Kazar, an Operations Coordinator with independent film distributor, Gravitas Ventures, working with Karia Brown and Mark Lyons to help deliver Gravitas films to a variety of internet and cable platforms. An LA native, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Film from UCLA and has since worked behind the scenes on various shorts, indie features and a web series. Zahida’s passion for all things film-related also led her to various roles at Warner Bros. and Twentieth Century Fox before joining the Gravitas team in the fall of 2014. At Gravitas she worked her way up to a Manager position in the Operations group. Zahida helps guide indie filmmakers through the delivery process and helps to ensure the release of these movies on the ever-growing VOD space. She loves meeting new filmmakers and helping them through the final step in the movie making process. She continues to produce short films, watch copious amounts of movies, and expand her knowledge of independent distribution.

Special Guest: Tiegen Kosiak

The other special guest will be Tiegen Kosiak, the Director of Development for Cinestar Pictures (Zoe Saldana's production company), which produces TV, feature, digital, scripted & unscripted content. Previously, Tiegen worked with the President of Production & Literary Management at Untitled Entertainment. Prior to that, Tiegen worked in commercial production in West Los Angeles, video production in New York City & live show production in Las Vegas. She also spent two years in the AmeriCorps VISTA program. Tiegen has a MFA in Poetry from Minnesota Statue University Moorhead & a BA in Communications from Marymount Manhattan College. She is a member of Scriptwriters Network, the Junior Hollywood Radio & Television Society (JHRTS) & Film Independent as well as the co-founder of the Young Hollywood Mafia (YHM).

Tiegen will be teaching the  upcoming Stage 32 Next Level Webinar, Branding and Selling Yourself as a Writing In Hollywood on Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at 11am PDT.
