Hello, Creative Army!

Last month, I was asked by Darren Geeter, a fellow creative and producer at CNBC (and all around great guy), to participate in a long form story regarding the decline in award show ratings and status not only within the industry, but with the public as well. This was a wide ranging interview spanning all aspects of the awards process including what being nominated truly means for talent, production companies, studios and streamers in today's environment. The report aired earlier this week on CNBC and we're happy to bring it to you here for all to enjoy and debate.

Darren did one hell of a job with this piece. It's meticulously researched and produced and I couldn't have been more thrilled to play a small part in bringing it to life.

I hope you'll enjoy the report. When you're done, feel free to sound off on the topic in the comments section below. Will you be watching the Oscars? Are you all in, or has your interest waned?
