Writers Collaborating on an Interactive Audiobook after Connecting through Stage 32!

An Innovative Solution for an Innovative Problem

I look great on paper. In fact, I work best on paper. Especially if that paper is uncoated 60-lb. cream-colored trade paperback book paper.

I've sold over 100,000 books as an author (in print and digital). As a result, I've risen to the #1 spot on Amazon's Children's Action & Adventure Sci-Fi Bestseller list, #1 on Amazon's Steampunk Bestseller list, and in the top ten of several other bestseller lists.

I look amazing on paper.

But all this achievement was accomplished while I was happy hiding out in my little writing cave all by myself.

As it turns out, I might be one of the few extroverted introverts.

You see, I joined Stage 32 in 2012, like I do every other social networking site that comes along.

However, like every other social networking site I belong to, I rarely log in and interact thanks to the introvert in me working hard to keep me hidden.

Despite, or perhaps because of, my desire to remain alone in my writing cave, I was a successful novelist. But the extrovert in me still desired to bring together creative people and build something new in the world.

However, I didn't know any creative people who were willing to try anything new and inventive because of my lack of networking.

I couldn't swing a stick around the individuals I knew in Silicon Valley without hitting coders and programmers. But I needed creative writers.

So I forced myself to go to the only place I could think of to locate writers who might be eager to join me on my crazy adventure: Stage 32.

I shoved that introvert down and began contacting screenwriters.

And I found them!

I now have two screenwriters working with me to produce interactive stories that are brought to life as interactive audiobooks by voice actors and sound editors.

On September 1st, 2021, we released our first two interactive stories, and we're on track to deliver two new InterACTIVE Audio Adventures per month.

While the focus of this post is on my success in locating writers through my Stage 32 relationships, it is also a success story for the writers who joined me.

Rather than collecting dust in a drawer, their creative work is now being published on a regular basis.

And it's all thanks to Stage 32.
