Thank you so much, Maurice. I hope this video helps a lot of actors. It could also help writers who want to branch out and work on scripts for industrial films.

Thanks Aaron Marcus! How do you recommend finding these opportunities? I did hear at the end you mentioned looking for agencies and corporations in your area and contacting them. Is there a specific department at companies that you recommend reaching out to?

Thank you Aaron Marcus While I have not yet done an industrial film, I do submit for them. Believe it or not Emily, I find those kind of posts on Craig'slist.

I have had some of the best experiences on training films. I did one for a big pharma company one time and they said I'd have a teleprompter on set so don't worry about the big technical jargon words. But, me being me, I memorized the whole script. Long story short, they only needed the teleprompter for the other actor and we actually wrapped two hours early. The crew was so grateful that they let me have all of the crafty, including water and Gatorades, to take home! It was at that point that I was glad I had a truck! Lol!

Wow Brandon Keeton that's amazing! How did you get connected to that company, like was this something you auditioned for through Actors Access?

What a great story, Brandon. Wow, memorizing all of that medical stuff is hard. Emily, I would try getting in touch with some government agencies in Atlanta and ask anyone who answers the phone if they create training films. They can send you to the right department. Emily, feel free to write back if you have any more questions. Suzanne, have you found many calls for training films on Craig's List?

I have done hundreds of training films. Most of them were for government agencies and associations. Everything from the Defense Intelligence Agency to the National PTA Association. You can contact some government agencies near you. There must be quite a few in the Atlanta area.

Aaron Marcus you've got me thinking. I need to see if that sort of stuff exists out here in Portugal

Yeah there have been a few Aaron Marcus . Usually it's for playing a patient for some medical training video. That is a good idea to call government agencies. Oh I just remembered, I did do a training video for law enforcement. (from CL) We acted out a church shooting scenario with real police officers. I was only an extra, but was paid.

I would say government agencies, law enforcement, and medical schools are probably the best bet. Most corporate videos I have had to watch don't use real people. They're all AI generated.

There is a whole other type of work for actors called Standardized Patient work. This is when medical schools and teaching hospitals hire actors to portray patients. This gives the doc's practice in doing exams. I know a number of actors who love doing this work. On my website, I sell a video- 44 Ideal Side Jobs For Actors that discuss many different types of great side hustle jobs for actors. You can find it on:howtoactandmodel.com - click on the Video Library tab and scroll down to premium videos. There are a number of really helpful videos there.

Brandon Keeton I'm in Atlanta too! Haven't received any of those auditions through my agent yet, but that's good to know :).

Emily, you can always ask your agent if he/she gets this type of work. If you are looking to find things on your own, you can also check out Role Playing jobs. For instance, there are some attorneys who want to present a case to an actor (as if they were on a jury) to get your thoughts. Here is a link to look into this more: http://www.ejury.com/
