I would like to revive certain shows. American Dragon: Jake Long, the High School Musical series.
Another is So Weird as an anthology series (like American Horror Story), and give it spin-offs one like Twilight Zone, Monsters, and Tales from the Darkside, and another about real encounters with the supernatural and paranormal.
Another is Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction, but the host could one of the following: Michael Rosenbaum, Keith David, Joaquin Phoenix, Jared Leto, Rosario Dawson, Zoe Saldana, Mark Hamill, Lucy Liu, but now I am thinking Awkwafina.
I’m feeling this revival list! Bringing back American Dragon: Jake Long would be a fun way to introduce the next gen to some classic storytelling. As for the High School Musical series, with all the nostalgia floating around, a reboot or continuation would definitely hit.
For So Weird, turning it into an anthology series like American Horror Story could be genius—each season could tackle different supernatural themes, and spin-offs would let the show explore various creepy vibes. The blend of Twilight Zone, Monsters, and Tales from the Darkside would create that eerie, '90s-'00s feel but with a modern twist.
Thank you. Do you know anyone who could help me with all this?
Kevin Hager - I believe Chase was thinking along the lines of the nostalgic sense. As many have mentioned before, these are proprietary properties - meaning they belong to someone else. As others have, I would encourage you to develop your own stories - not stories that belong to someone else since you don't have permission to write them.
Some see Nostalgia, and some like me see potential, and how far they could go.
