Your Step by Step Guide on How to Option a Book

More than ⅔ of the top 100 Films and Television series last year were based on IP. While Intellectual Property can be spread across more than a dozen categories, typically the foundation for a project is a book more often than anything else. In a business where financing is harder and harder to assemble, books offer a proven concept to the marketplace. They have already been pitched, sold, edited, marketed and found an audience in their home territory and hopefully abroad as well. A well-written book is a known metric in the industry, as well as the creative spine of any great stage adaptation. Getting your hands on a book can be costly and competitive, but it doesn’t have to be. This webinar will walk you through every step of the process.

So excited for this webinar!!

John-Paul Sarni

Optioning a book is something I am asked about constantly. The good news is that you don't need to have a huge checkbook or be a Hollywood insider to do this. I'm eager to walk you through my experiences and hear how your respective journeys in this arena have been.
