I'm new here so I thought I'd ask the generic question of: anyone live in LA who wants to collaborate on shooting short videos? I have a sketch comedy channel (Immature Amateur Show on YouTube), but I have that classic thing of finding myself working alone, desperately going from one person to the next to be involved. Haha would love to find someone who has the same wish of a consistent collaboration they never had before.

Welcome to the community, Clint DeNisco. You can also search the Browse Section for LA collaborators (www.stage32.com/browse).
I suggest adding a picture and a bio to your profile. They'll help you build industry relationships/network on here, and a profile picture will allow people to search for you in the search bar (near the top of Stage 32).

Welcome to the Stage 32 community, Clint DeNisco! To echo the great advice that Maurice gave you, a bio definitely helps. It's a great way for you to tell people a bit about yourself, what interests you about filmmaking, and share a bit about your background and where you come from. So many connections begin with shared interests, so I can't overstate how helpful it will be for you as you start networking. I know some members on Stage 32 won't accept networking requests from members that don't have a picture and a bio.
The best way to network here on Stage 32, is just to put yourself out there by posting, commenting, and connecting with people from all over the world. The most effective networking comes from building genuine relationships over time. A great way to start is by checking out the Filmmaking Lounge where you can join discussions with other creators, pose questions that you may have, provide advice or insights, and share news/announcements that interest you.
You can find the lounge through the toolbar at the top of your browser window. Simply click on "Lounge", which will direct you to a new page listing all of the current lounges available to you. Then select "Filmmaking/Directing". I hope to see you over there!
