Following (sort of) In Footsteps

Hello All!

I’ve introduced myself many times so thought I’d share about how I got into this business.

I grew up in it!

My Mom became a hairdresser after going from an MGM messenger to working in the Hair and MU room there, and then encouraged to go to learn more, she attended Hairdressing School…after some experience, she was introduced to Natalie Wood as a possible personal Hairstylist. Natalie liked her and they worked together for the next 17 years. Mom wrote a book called “Hairdresser to the Stars” that is her over 40 years experience in film. So she is a hairdresser and a writer! She has written forever and even now at 89 she still comes up w new ideas and stories. We even took a screenwriting class together, Years ago, both coming out w full screenplays. That was cool!

Anyway, a little Hollywood history! Mom probably worked on many movies you know.

And now you know a little more about me. ha

I’m a 1st AD/Writer/producer/Documentary Maker/who know what else!

love getting to know you all!

@Elena - I remember visiting these amazing sets when either my mom or dad were working. I remember going to Natalie’s house when I was little. We went on lots of locations depending on who was shooting where and lived for those months and went to different schools. Met people from all over the US and other parts of the world. All memorable experiences. And all inspired me continually. Cause what other business is like this one?
