Hi everyone,
Happy Introduce Yourself Weekend! I’m Sydney, and I work on the Stage 32 Education team. I absolutely love meeting our community and supporting students as they grow - celebrating your wins, helping you through challenges, and cheering you on as you take the next step in your creative journey. I’m here to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, and I’d be so happy to help you reach your goals :)
A little about me: I’m also a photographer and love diving into creative projects. Right now, I’m having fun making DIY holiday decor using things I already have , repurposing old scrapbook paper, ribbon, and other bits and pieces. I’m going for a boho ‘70s holiday vibe , shiny tinsel, stars, eclectic trees, a little disco magic - just letting my creativity and holiday spirit run wild! A little cheesy? Maybe, but I love it.
What are you working on this holiday season? Writing, creating, relaxing, or just enjoying the festivities? I’d love to hear!
I’m always here if you want to reach out always: edu@stage32.com
Can’t wait to connect with you ! Add me to your network!

Sydney S Hi Sydney! Such a pleasant intro!!!! Love that calendar idea. I'm writing a holiday/Christmas screenplay, which will be the last project I finish off with this 2025. Once that's "done", lol, mostly, I'll focus on auditions, acting projects and contracts that are coming in, and be with my hubby, and two huskies, with lots of gratitude and love for an extraordinary 2025, and…possibly…lots of baking : )

Hi, Sydney S. Happy Friday & Happy Introduce Yourself Weekend! Thanks for everything you do for the community! A boho ‘70s holiday shiny vibe with floral, stars, eclectic disco-inspired trees sounds unique. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures!
I'm rewriting a feature script for Stage 32's November Write Club. My second goal for NWC is outline and write a short script.

Hello, nice to meet you Sydney S
Thank you very much for your time and for guiding the community.
For me, I’m focusing on one sci-fi project — The Silent PFC War — which I’m currently developing as a screenplay.
Logline: When an alien-engineered gas regresses humanity to the mindset of six-year-olds, rebel aliens join forces with imprisoned ISS astronauts to restore global intelligence before a hidden genocide plan is triggered.

Glad to have you on the team, Sidney! This holiday season I’m working on producing a future film that’s been in the works for years. Hoping you are getting some creative inspiration from your photography taking pictures of the fabulous skies we’ve been having lately!

Your sci-fi project sounds fantastic. That logline pulled me in immediately ... it’s imaginative, high-stakes, and so unique. You can tell there’s a huge world behind it, and it’s exciting to hear you’re developing it as a screenplay. What an amazing journey to be on.

You're welcome, Sydney S. Thanks. I also outlined and wrote a one-page script for November Write Club. I'm trying to decide if I should use it as a writing sample or pitch it. It has potential to be a feature film. Have a great week too.

Thanks so much! I’m really grateful you loved the pictures - that truly made my day. It’s always such a joy to share little bursts of creativity, especially when the skies have been so stunning lately, even with the rain :) We wouldn’t be Stage 32 without all that you do for the team and the community!
Your upcoming film sounds incredible, and I’m so excited for you as it finally comes together after all the years of work. Congrats :)

Sydney S so nice to have finally been able to interact - you have such an inspirational energy :) I used to do quite a bit of photography myself back in the day. mostly dance, some fashion agency tests. How about you? What do you like to shoot?

Thank you very much for your encouragement Sydney S . I’m so happy you like my logline. And yes—the story hides a huge narrative that unfolds simultaneously across three major locations: Earth, planet Oziross, and the ISS.
I’m working on it, and one day it will come to life.

Sydney S Awesome! Nothing is cheesy about a little disco magic. I'm working on my final tweaks on my script Elimination Strain that was accepted into the Austin Film Festival where I met the awesome team from Stage 32. I thought I'd have time to do my tweaks to my script but with Halloween and Thanksgiving so close together it's been hard so this week I'm setting time aside.

Hi Seb,
Thank you so much, that’s so kind of you to say! It’s been lovely having the chance to connect and get to know you more!
I really love to photograph the surf and a lot of nature, the sun, the moon, butterflies, flowers, and different earth elements. I love bright colors but also a B & W moment...I also enjoy experimenting with double exposure, and I like to photograph friends and family, as well as some music. Living on the California coast, I definitely end up capturing a lot of my daily life at the beach, it’s such an inspiring place to live and create. I am so grateful!
It’s amazing you did dance and fashion photography! That must have been such a fun and dynamic experience. Do you still photograph some? Thank you for all you do for the Stage 32 community, we're lucky to have you as an education moderator :)
Warmly,
Sydney

That’s so exciting, congratulations on Elimination Strain being accepted into the Austin Film Festival! That’s such an amazing achievement, and it must have been incredible connecting with the Stage 32 team there. I was jealous i wasn't there :)
I totally get how busy things can get with Halloween and Thanksgiving right around the corner. It’s great that you’re setting aside time this week to focus on your final tweaks, your script is lucky to have such dedicated attention!
Wishing you smooth editing and lots of inspiration as you wrap it up. Can’t wait to hear how it all comes together! Have a great week!

Sydney S that all sounds awesome - I get this image of you literally absorbing everything around you and channeling it into these magical fragments of art. Thank you for creating :)
I don't photograph as much but I'm aiming to do a whole bunch of 'image creation' pretty soon with film ;)
And thank you for compliment & for the opportunity to participate in that way with our colleagues here on the platform.
