Just joined. It's so exciting. To me collaboration is everything in Life. We all have only so many talents. Socially and Professionally. Collaboration is also an elevated type of vulnerability. It is a willingness to receive input and when to relinquish control. Me? I'm the helpful insightful brutally honest creative unconventional friend/collegue/assistant/collaborator. I write. I communicate. I'm as good as my Mentor. Presently in need of a comedy co writer. I'm great at assisting a genius who understands that I'm totally fallible. I love creative people. Your'e impossible, demanding, irrational and bewildering. But I have lnown you intimately for years guided by your Instrument, the THEMES of my LIFE. Hi Stephanie welcome. You're so right that collaboration has a vulnerability risk because we have to give a piece of our true selves, often to strangers. This is OK because we (as artists) want to give all to the final piece of artwork but its a question of trusting our new allies. I have collaborated on projects both with artists I know and do not know but the Art will always out. Hangers on or those with negative intent drop off like flies when showtime really begins.
