Of course I am being facetious. Finally responding to the pressure, I have fleshed-out my profile and am prepared to say hello. I joined Stage32 because someone, somewhere along the way said that I should. I am interested in connecting with people who I respect and who I know or know of by way of their work or my perception of their work. I am responsive to individuals who have interesting, innovative projects or collaborative proposals, and whose work is motivated by heart and soul. My primary work is teaching music. I am of the old school. Quality over pizzazz. Somebody has to do it. And all that other stuff just makes me feel "icky." I am also proud of some of my audio assist voice-over work for the blind and PSAs in support of non-profit agencies that I have scripted and voiced. I write news stories in support of musical arts -- in particular arts education and classical vocal. Getting back into musical composition because that is where my heart is leading me. Right now. Besides, a psychic on Michael Jackson's old radio talk show said that writing would bring me the most success or recognition. I can't remember which, exactly. No matter. I think I've been holding off on the writing because it's like having extra years in the bank. If I never write, I'll be a very, very old non-writer. If I don't write, I'll die. (A bit dramatic.) If I do write... Hmmm. A real catch-22. Best wishes to all here on Stage32. And now for one of many good current favorite quotes. "Nobody can tell you if what you're doing is good, meaningful, or worthwhile. The more compelling the path, the more lonely it is." -- Hugh MacLeod, IGNORE EVERYBODY
