My last screenplay option was 3 and a half years ago. Last week I optioned 2 screenplays - my revenge/thriller, "3rd Degree" (2009 BlueCat Semi Finalist) and my thriller, "The Face Behind the Mask." Fingers crossed.

One was a response to a post on the InkTip Preferred Newsletter, the other was a cold query. It seems that if you submit enough queries, sometimes you find someone who happens to be looking for something similar to what your'e selling.
Great insight Greg, have you used the Blacklist? Any views?

I haven't had much luck with Blacklist, Anthony. I do stay in touch with a couple of producers I met on Virtual Pitchfest.

Hey Greg, Congratulations. I was a BlueCat semifinalist this year (2015). So glad to read that BlueCats can find a home sometimes!
Oops, sorry Greg. I was a top 10% in BlueCat, which is a quarter-finalist (top 5%) . Sorry about the error. I did make it all the way to the finals (top 10 scripts) in the historical division of the Beverly Hills Screenplay Contest. I mixed the two results up.
