So I submitted a written pitch for my TV Pilot and got a request from the Executive. Is this something I should be excited about or do they just request everything to read? I uploaded the Pilot but haven't heard anything back. I'm assuming this is all OK to do during the strike?
Jennifer Ritch Yes, it's definitely something you should be excited about. You didn't mention how long it's been since you've heard back after delivering your pilot so if you have any questions about that, feel free to reach out to writerhelp@stage32.com.
It is safe to pitch during the strike, as Stage 32 has taken great care that none of the strike rules are violated in the process with executives doing the same. Check out the S32 statement on the strike here: https://www.stage32.com/strike
Congratulations!

Thanks Leonardo! I got the request for the Pilot about 2 weeks after I submitted the Pitch. I uploaded the Pilot a few days ago. It says it could take months so I'm not too stressed. Just new to all of this so I'm trying to figure out what's normal and what's not. So far I'm only certain that I'm not normal. ;)
Jennifer Ritch You and me both, my friend! Hoping for all the best for you!

I have my first live pitch Monday evening. So, YES! You should be excited, but keep your expectations tempered. That's the only advice I can give you.

Executives reviewing projects have a lot of demands on their time so requesting to review your work is a good thing.
