Thanks, Sydney! I’m especially excited about this course because, in addition to covering screenwriting basics, it includes a filming component as the final assignment. This element gives participants the chance not only to write, but also to experience the full journey of bringing a story from idea to screen.

The writers in my first class came in experienced and “seasoned” -- like myself in age -- yet together we were still able to unlock new dimensions of their writing voice. When we understand our personal writer’s voice and tap into our unique “career character,” our stories take on an energy the reader can truly feel. It was inspiring to see that process unfold, and I’m excited to keep building on it with more writers.
