I am a freelance Music Producer, Songwriter, Musician and Proprietor of Why Me? Studios in Streamwood IL. I am currently a music producer for Promiseland Childrens Ministry at Willow Creek Community Church in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I'm also a jingle/theme writer in the technology podcast-sphere. My credits include several jingles/themes for Leo LaPorte’s, TWiT.tv network. To my credit are the “Weekly Daily Giz Wiz” podcast with Leo LaPorte and Mad Magazine’s Maddest writer and the Giz Wiz Dick DeBartolo, “Tech News Today” with Tom Merritt, "iPad Today” with Sarah Lane, “Home Theater Geeks” and "CNET's Buzz Out Loud" to name a few. With a career that spans over 30 years, I have worked with several Chicago-based musical groups such as XTC, Drive, Kelly and the Playmakers, The Stay Tuned Orchestra, and Willow Creek Community Church. My work includes playing bass with noted artist’s such as Darlene Czech, Laura Hall, Tommy Walker, John Carlson, and Kirk Whalum, among others. I'm also a musical contributor for the Annual Willow Creek Association’s Children’s Ministry Conference each spring. A behind the scenes kind of guy, I play a fantastic supporting role; letting the music take center stage. For this reason, whether it’s writing a marketing jingle, producing a podcast, compossing or putting together background music for a video project, I always try to keep this easy and fun.
