Sinbad II : The Retirement Voyage to Fiji
On his final voyage to retire in Fiji, Sinbad becomes the subject of a divine trial. Eris, goddess of discord, returns disguised as Sirena and is given until Fiji to destroy him without direct force. She unleashes three material temptations—false routes, cursed islands, and deadly riches—each thwarted by Marina’s courage and Spike’s vigilance. After Marina leaves the ship, Eris appeals the gods and launches a final temptation aimed at Sinbad’s heart. Marina returns in time, breaks the spell, and saves him. Wounded while protecting her, Sinbad survives. The gods judge Eris defeated, restore Sinbad’s fate, and allow his voyage to end in peace.
