Devix szell directorial debut | Drew Paige

For the past year, I have been working on turning my memoir into a screenplay with Devix Szell, an incredible creative visionary. He just had his directorial debut on the video "Got What You Wanted" with The Banishment. Their debut album Machine and Bone will be released on March 10, 2023. He also created the cover art for the album. He is multifaceted in his creative talent. Devix Szell is a Los Angeles-based artist, singer and actor who spent his adolescence performing experimental noise shows with local punk bands before featuring in other acts that included ex-members of Samhain and Christian Death. He has composed music for Catherine Hardwicke’s psycho thriller rock opera ‘Plush’, Jamie Deacon’s ‘Way To Blue’ (also acting in it) and Susanne Landau’s ‘Stick and Poke’, making his directorial debut with the promo clip for ‘Got What You Wanted’. As a performer, Szell is earnest and chaotic, with a hauntingly powerful, soul-stirring voice and a stage presence that is dramatic and mesmerizing. We both have the same vision for the film we are creating for my story The Darkness Within. Excited for what is to come with this project. I always support creatives who have a gift for vision.
