Tender Heart Educational Society is a charitable non government, non profit organization out of India. The mission of Tender Heart is to uplift, and provide social and educational opportunities for disadvantaged children and children with special needs in the city of Faridabad and the rural villages of northern India. Additionally, to create employment opportunities and vocational training to widows and underprivileged young women in the village of Bhatola. We are working towards alleviating the poverty in the rural villages of Northern India as they merge with the urbanized paradigm. We work hard to give children the freedom of self-expression and creativity, whereas this freedom has been inhibited in most poverty-stricken educational programs. Our special needs program in the last year has grown from four to twenty-seven children! And the goal is to continue this trend, providing opportunities to these children that were once unheard of in this region. Our multifaceted approach has been designed to reduce unemployment, mainstreaming special needs children into a world that supports them and cares for their needs. We believe that every man, woman and child has the right and deserves the opportunity to live their life to the fullest potential, and we make every effort to provide that opportunity to the people we support. Most of all, we are striving to create a community. One that can grow internationally, reaching worldwide to those in need and to those who are able to give a helping hand.
