In terms of publishing; has anyone ever heard of having a creative director on staff to help ensure various books adhere to the same universe or world even though they may involve different characters and storylines? For me, it sounds like the job of an editor but would like to get the opinion of others. Also, anyone happen to have (or point me to) a creative director job description within the entertainment industry? I can find ones for ad agencies but checking to see if there is anything more specific.

In the new book on Pixar, Creativity Inc, they talk about a person that does that. I believe they called it a Story Editor?
I hope you are well. I am sorry for being so invasive. I’ve published a book and won an award with it. Now I’m in the place where I need some outside input as far as turning this into a movie. This is a mystery/suspense involving the Royal family. I would love to read your evaluation, and see if I got a chance? I can send it to you via email. Thank you.
