Jump over to Facebook for the "FilmicPro Users" group ... I don't think mobile filmmaking is the wave of the future, and I do think it's a great proving ground to create content. Lots done with, on mobile filmmaking: Bentley car commercial, Zach Snyder's short 'Snow Steam Iron", 'Tangerine' (feature 2015), Unsane (2018), High Flying Bird (2019). So have at it, fearlessly!
Filmic Pro is the tool to use and despite what others might say, I think the iphone is great to be used for movies. I know many of the big directors beieve so too. But don't advertise it as being filmed on an iphone, because that prevents it from becoming a mainstream tool. And invest in some proper tools, like sound, gimbal and such.
Making content on IPhones has helped people learn filmmaking and storytelling skills; has helped people get jobs in the business; has served as mocks/drafts for content later shot on professional equipment; and has been used to make award-winning content enjoyed by millions. And professionals like Steven Soderbergh, Zack Snyder, and Park Chan-wook, just to name a few, have made high-quality content with them.

HAAAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!
Filmic Pro is a pretty solid app. If you have gear use that but if you are on vacation and want to get solid footage, use that app

Fantastic, my next phone :-) but mobile filmmaking should be limited to internet broadcasting. Not for professional use anyway.

Steven Soderbergh loves iphones... but he's a filmmaker with 30++ years of experience.

Check B&H Online--they have a bundle of great add ons. There are other sites with even cheaper accessories for iPhone X filming.
