I'm happy to announce I signed an option deal yesterday to write an indie film that is on track to shoot later this year. This comes on the heels of an option I signed in early May. I just checked my records, and this is option number 12 from a company I’ve worked with since 2012. I competed with over 100 other screenwriting applicants for this client's last gig in November and was in the final two. This filmmaker called me 3 weeks ago to discuss this project, and the client provided a detailed story treatment, so I'm already well into the project.
