First time submitting to Stage32 Pitch Sessions/First 10 pages - 'Consider'

Hi there,

So I'm new to the Script Services that Stage32 offers so I figured I would try them out. The one pitch I did requested the script - sent. So now waiting on that response.

The First 10 pages review has 'Consider' for both the Writer and the Project. Not sure what exactly the next steps are for this then. Is this just a wait and see if the Exec reaches out on their own accord? Or is there another course of action I can personally take to be pro-active and utilize whatever momentum this may have generated?

Let me know what everyone's experiences have been.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Thanks,

Charles 'Pumky' Valentin-Stulck

Nice to meet you Charles! Or Pumky, whatever you want to be called. It's all good. Glad you're here. Any chance to pitch is an opportunity you should take. Just relax and believe in your work. You'll do great, I just know it.

If I get a script request from a producer, I usually wait a month before I do a follow-up email; most of the time they don't respond, so I write it off. It can take months for them to actually read a script - I think my record was 8 months.

Hi Charles Valentin-Stulck good luck with your pitch. I've pitched my crime fiction trilogy, had great, constructive feedback. The TV pilot should be complete this weekend for future pitching. Anyway, my name is David and I'm part of the LOUNGE CREW team, here's the link https://www.stage32.com/lounge which has so many topics to get involved with and network. Also, the blog page, https://www.stage32.com/blog, a huge number of informative and fun posts from such talent around the world writing about their creative experiences. Great to connect and look forward to networking.

Congrats on getting a read request for your first pitch! You usually hear back within a few weeks, and it's through Stage 32. You'll get an email either sharing direct contact info with "what's next" instructions, or a link to feedback if they decide to pass after reading. I will say I had one requested back in October, had Stage 32 help me with follow-up, and still haven't heard back. You'll notice we're told it could be 3+ months for a response. At this point, I don't expect feedback but that's not usually the case. I have nothing to share about the First 10 read, since I haven't done that. But I'm assuming like all other services, everything goes through S32. You could contact writerhelp@stage32.com and ask. They're always good about explaining processes, or forward your email to the right person to do so.

Thanks everyone for your feedback!

Hi. I got consider/consider before on a review here. That was 6 months ago. It doesn’t necessarily mean anything definite will happen. Feels good though
