Hello! My name is Julia Messick, I am a senior at Pratt Institute studying film. My passion for film started at 12-years-old when I began making short films with my little dslr. I decided to post today because I just submitted to my first screenwriting contest! I am very excited, please wish me luck! I submitted a personal, but comedic script that I have been working on for almost two years. I am glad to finally have it pushed into the world!

Hi Ty Strange, Yes! The longline is A feeble family dentistry struggles to survive as flirtatious receptionists, scheming hygienists, and uncooperative patients create chaos. It is a comedic story based off of my own experience working at my family's dental office growing up!

Brilliant and funny premise, Julia Messick! There have been comedic dentistry scenes as part of larger stories but never as the focal point. Hope it does well!
