Keep writing. Well that's what they tell us. Oscars. Golden Globes. Emmys and the like. I love this time of year. It's when all of the hard work for a writer's effort is rewarded with some kind of golden statue. Yay! Well, guess what... Some of my hard work has paid off. Last week, I placed and / or was selected for a contest prize. On top of that, I got a materials request from a Stage32 pitch submission. Yhatzeee! (I hope I spelled that right). Any way, despite all of my bickering and moaning, I kept writing and hopefully it will continue to pay off with more selections. So, to all my writers out there who are bitter and angry at the screenwriting / cinematic universe,,,keep writing.

I'm actually working on a new logline for a western feature. More in research mode, but hey, I have to start somewhere. :D Can't wait to see what it leads.
