I directed a low-budget indie feature when I was just starting out and we managed to get Teri Garr to do a few days on the film. She was all class. She brought her A-game as a quintessential professional would. It was an honor and privilege and I've remained her biggest fan. I learned a lot from her. I am so sad to hear of her passing. Her unique brilliance and wit will live on. Tootsie, Young Frankenstein and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind will be watched again this holiday season in celebration of her life. https://deadline.com/2024/10/teri-garr-dead-young-frankenstein-tootsie-1...

Goodbye. RIP.
YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN was recently on.
"Roll, roll, roll in the hay."
"My, what knockers." "Thank you, Doctor."

I fell in love with her as a young boy when I saw her on an episode of Star Trek (TOS), and continued to love her throughout her career. I’m saddened I never got to meet her, as I had hoped I might when I began my own journey in the industry.

"Assignment: Earth." Saw the rerun a few years ago. Unfortunately, a failed pilot for a show following those characters.

My favourite movie is THE BLACK STALLION. Watched it a month ago with my Dad (80) and my daughter (10). Loved Teri Garr in MR. MOM, too.

Sad news about Teri. Always such a warm, lively screen presence, who could balance comedy and drama so well. Loved her roles in Close Encounters, The Black Stallion, Tootsie, and so many others. Thanks for sharing your experience with her, Sam.. Rest In Peace, Teri.

Very sad. I did not know she was struggling with MS. I absolutely loved and continue to laugh when I watch "Mr. Mom" with her and Michael Keaton. A couple sharing work and the home load when it first was becoming a "thing". They both were amazing with a great script.
