Hey all! Great to meet you and thrilled to be here! My name is Danelle and I have been in the recruiting world for 10 years and have been trying to get out of that world for almost all of those years. My passions lie in storytelling and helping elevate the stories that others want to tell, and my goal is to one day be a Creative Exec within feature animation. Being in recruitment gives me a very unique look into the industry where I see all, but touch nothing, as I like to say. I am able to see everything I want to do and connect with brilliant folks, but am missing that crucial piece of the puzzle: experience.
When not contemplating the woes of my career, I can usually be found reading or playing Dungeons and Dragons to scratch that storytelling itch.
I'm excited to meet you all and will take any and all advice on the creative development space!

To answer your question Maurice, I love both traditional and CG Animation: for me the style is less important than the story that is trying to be told. I have more experience in the CG space though

I love traditional and CG Animation too, Danelle Santos. My favorite is a tie between 3D and Stop-motion.
"For me the style is less important than the story that is trying to be told." I like that! Whatever's best for the story.
I'm rooting for you to reach your goal of becoming a Creative Exec in feature animation!
