Favorite acting role

I am wondering what productions you all have been a part of and which has been your favorite role? This can be anything, professional or amateur, television, film or theater. Love to hear you responses!

Koby Nguyen

Hello Suzanne, personally I worked on outfits for a big theater called L’Opéra de Toulon in France, I worked on the theme of Baroque, a chic elegant outfit. I loved participating, I would do it again if I can, now I combine sewing and styling with my films.

Alexandra Stevens

Suzanne Bronson good question. I don't know if it was my favourite but the one that popped into my head so probably the most memorable is Caliban from Shakespeares The Tempest. It was at school when i was 16 and I remember hanging upside down half-off the stage making a grotesque face ;)

That's really cool Koby Nguyen How do you combine sewing and styling with your films?

Thank you Suzanne! Having learned to sew and to design outfits has been a great asset for me as a filmmaker.

It allows me to imagine my characters not only through their psychology, but also through what they wear, their outfits, their style, and the meaning these choices carry within the environment of the story.

In fashion, I have created pieces for runway shows, seasonal collections, and brands, but also for theater and cinema.

This background gives my films an extra layer of depth and symbolism.

I'm not familiar with that show Ashley Renee Smith what is it about and why is that your favorite?

Aaaa Dddd

I have a play in which I play the role of a hybrid human, a human whose father was a witch and whose mother was a human, and then I accidentally enter the same world that my father came from...

Suzanne Bronson A Tuna Christmas is a comedy set in the fictional small town of Tuna, Texas, during the holidays. It’s a quirky show where just two actors usually play more than 20 eccentric townspeople, but in our little community production, they opened up the roles to a full cast. I played Jodie, a kid caught up in all the town’s holiday chaos.

It was a big deal for me because I was 12 at the time and absolutely desperate to be on stage, but living in a small town far from a city, opportunities were almost nonexistent. I got lucky that our community theater put an ad in the paper looking for a kid for the role, and that’s how I got in. From that moment on, I practically lived at that theater until I left for college. The people there became my extended family, and the experience of working on shows both on stage and behind the scenes had such a huge impact on who I am today.

That's an awesome story Ashley Renee Smith Sounds like a fun production.
