Anything Goes : Eulogy for a Frog by Wyman Brent

Wyman Brent

Eulogy for a Frog

I wrote this song as both a lament and a fable — an elegy for those who stood up for what was right and were silenced for it. The frog remains while the crown lies in the mud — a quiet symbol of hope, survival, and dignity in the face of corruption and ego.

It isn’t a song of despair but of endurance.

Sometimes the smallest voice — or even the stillness of a frog on a log — can outlast the noise of power.

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

These are symbolic images. Full of meaning.
