Hi everyone!
I’m an emerging screenwriter passionate about surrealism, psychological horror and drama.
Right now I’m focused on short films and building stories that explore fractured reality, inner conflict and the emotional side of fear. I’m especially interested in character-driven stories where atmosphere and mood play a big role.
I’m here to connect with filmmakers, directors and fellow writers, learn from the community and collaborate on future projects.
Happy to be here and looking forward to meeting you all!

That's awesome Konstantin Kuzmin - Hitchcock is definitely an influence in my own work as a horror writer. And of course, we all love Rear Window!

Greetings, Konstantin Kuzmin! Writing about "fractured reality, inner conflict and the emotional side of fear" sounds fascinating. I've tried my hand at psych horror with one script. Best of luck with your writing efforts. Cheers.

Hi Sydney S , thank you so much for the warm welcome!
In my first stories, I really want to explore the idea that no matter how difficult or dark the situation is, there is always a choice. That theme feels very important to me and I’d love to build my early scripts around it.

Really interesting perspective. I’m currently developing a mythology-based script exploring Ravana beyond the traditional villain lens. Curious — how do you approach balancing originality with audience expectations?

Great to see surreal storytelling getting attention here. I’m currently working on a mythology-based concept where Ravana is explored beyond the traditional villain lens — more as a complex, power-driven figure shaped by ego and destiny. Curious how you approach blending surreal elements with grounded emotional conflict?

Welcome Konstantin Kuzmin — surrealism, psychological horror, and fractured reality with atmosphere and mood at the center is a genuinely compelling creative space, and short films are one of the best ways to develop that kind of distinctive voice quickly.

Really interesting question. I’m currently most excited about a mythology-based project exploring Ravana beyond the traditional villain perspective — focusing more on power, ego, and psychological conflict. Curious how projects with mythological roots are viewed in today’s global market?

Projects rooted in mythology will always have a place in the market; it's all about how fresh you can make it. What's new about your take?
What makes my take different is the shift in perspective — Ravana isn’t treated as a traditional villain, but as a product of ambition, intellect, and unchecked ego.
The story explores how power distorts purpose, and how someone who believes they are right can still become the antagonist of their own destiny.
It’s less about mythology as spectacle, and more about psychological conflict within a mythological framework.
