Which is better: Beachtek or Juicedlink XLR audio inputs

I have a Sony handy-cam that outputs clean 8bit HDMI which is great. It also has an 1/8in mic input as well. I was wondering if anybody on this forum every used a beachtek (http://www.beachtek.com/) or the Juicedlink (http://www.juicedlink.com/) to get a clean xlr into your consumer camera(s) as well as HDSLR(s)?

Omar - this post would probably make more sense in the Cinematography section...there's a lot of activity there about things like this.

I use JuicedLink gear with a variety of Rode microphones and find the audio gain pristine - not a bit of self noise.
