Go anime! Watch "Attack on Titan"! Also, not new, but "United States of Tara" is a pretty good show.

The Leftovers is a good show so far.

Extant on CBS has been very good so far. The Strain, The Left Overs and Tyrant are queing up in my DVR and are next on my "To Watch" list.

The Strain pilot was awesome...have not seen the left overs...tyrant is okish :D

Funny you should post this.. Our group feels most TV shows by genre tend to in some ways mimic one another whether reality, drama, comedy or action.. And few if any have a unique visual storytelling format.. In order to fill the void we're developing a series pilot that fills the void and will translate across other platforms. Any writers, animators, or anyone else interested in collaborating should shoot me a message :)

You should try and track down an Italian crime drama Romanzo Criminale the series. Its based on true events and there is a film also but the tv show is wow. Best crime drama ever made! Nice to meet you btw :-D and thank you for the request.

you all might want to try The Strain

I recently heard that there is a new show named The Knick...heard its good...any remarks??

I watched Fargo and absolutely loved it! I was hesitant at first, not knowing what else they could add to the full feature but man was it awesome! The writing was on point, the casting was perfect and the story was incredible. It was done in a True Detective kinda way, where the creator wrote all 10 episodes.

Fargo is awesome :D No doubts there...Martin Freeman does an awesome job :)
