When a billionaire’s AI generated world is introduced as the cure to all of society’s problems, a resourceful mother flees with her children for a safe community before the rogue computer causes its complete collapse.
SYNOPSIS:
The story centers around Natalia Fuentes and her family, who like many, become entangled in a billionaire's vision for the world. Losing her family at a young age, all Natalia had ever wanted was security. What she did learn from her off the grid Father were skills that she never realized she would have to use again. Once she met her husband Fernando, she was happy to live in blissful ignorance, until the introduction of an AI generated persona named Rex, selling a vision of UTOPIA captures the attention of the world. The introduction of this charismatic persona begins to dissolve the structure of society, the economy and rips apart communities. People are selling their houses, and the media frenzy around this has neighbors and families pitted against one another. Natalia's husband falls down that rabbit hole and tries to force Natalia's hand in selling their house and handing over the money to live in Utopia. Beginning to understand the gravity of what is happening to society, Natalia escapes with their children. On the run, they meets others who have been impacted by this grift, including Jennifer a hacker, who joins them on their journey to a safe place. The journey to stay safe and together tests Natalia and her children's resilience while bringing out their survival skills, in their bid to reach their destination and start over.
