A young woman with a troubled past must infiltrate a law firm to get revenge on the person behind her grievances.
SYNOPSIS:
Anna Bellete (a young beauty) has just killed a man. His head is gashed open, blood pooling around him as she sobs. It's intense and insane and gory and just when we're about to find out what the hell's going on, we're suddenly thrown a few months prior to this incident, meeting Mary Summers (also a young beauty) (also Anna Bellete). Let us explain...
Mary Summers is a woman with a troubled past: a mother who died when she was a little girl, a father who's gone MIA, and living with an abusive aunt has created a terrible life for her. So Mary sets out to change this.
Thanks to the help of her friend Peter (nerdy but cute) Mary has the chance to change her crummy situation. She has a forged passport and a fake law degree all under the name of Anna Bellete. Now going under the guise of Anna Bellete, Mary moves to Cleveland and nabs a job as an office manager at a well-known law firm: Coleman, McKinley & Partners.
Her beauty and wit are envied by her female colleagues, and she is fawned over by all of the men at the company. But none of them seem to know what Anna's true intentions really are. Eventually, she attracts the attention of her boss Joseph Windbury (a dapper man with an edge) who becomes smitten with the young professional. Despite the fact that Joseph is married, he begins to "play games" with Anna. He treats her to gifts, the most spectacular of which are a penthouse apartment overlooking the city and a promotion at the company. However, what Joseph doesn't know is that Anna is playing a few games of her own. She enlists the help of a private detective to dig up some dirt on her sleazy boss.
Soon, Joseph's fascination with Anna grows into a real obsession and begins to pose a threat to both of them. All of this is closely intertwined with the civil law case with which Joseph is operating — a one way ticket to paradise being a top lawyer working in the big city of New York.
Anna's own investigation leads her to a woman named Marianne Harris, a former employee of the company whom Joseph raped a few years ago. She has since been paid off to keep her mouth shut and goes by the name Gina Sherwood. Anna promises Marianne she'll get revenge for Joseph's wrongdoings. And she does so by finding the proof he didn't believe existed.
It really spirals from here, and in less than 24 hours, Joseph's life takes a heart pounding turn for the worse. His case is destroyed and his dreams of ever working in New York are crushed to pieces. And it doesn't stop there. Anna also sends a sex tape of Joseph fornicating with and beating up a prostitute to his wife. Of course, Joseph's wife files for divorce.
Joseph, enraged with how his life has taken such a turn, breaks into Anna's apartment. When Anna finds Joseph snorting coke, she's taken aback, feigning confusion as to why. Joseph is now irritated, coked up and drunk, and does the one thing he's any good at. He rapes Anna. Asking her all the while, "Who's your daddy, huh? Who's your daddy!" When he finishes, Anna reveals to him that her name is Mary Summers. Terror fills Joseph's eyes as this announcement divulges something much larger.
Anna is Joseph's daughter. Joseph is Anna's father who went MIA when she was just a little girl. After explaining her plan for revenge, Joseph vomits, facing away from Anna. Anna sees her opportunity and smashes Joseph's brains in with a small statute. When the police take Anna in for questioning she tells them she hit Joseph with the statue in self-defense. David is there too, and explains to a police officer that Joseph was volatile hours earlier in the office, showing off his bruises from a fight they had.
Later, Anna, now less traumatized, is seated in front of the managers of the law firm. They don't want the media to know about what Joseph did as it would tarnish the company's powerful reputation. So they pay off Anna with a whopping sum of money in a briefcase to keep her silence. Anna, without saying a word, signs the NDA agreement, takes the briefcase, and leaves.
Our last shot is of Anna returning to Peter's apartment. The two of them smile; happy to see one another again. Peter makes some room in the doorway, and Anna steps in.
