Strung Out is a tale about a young girl in her "20s" whose depression led to her paralysis after her mother's death, and who was assaulted and dispossessed by her father. Her situation was an upshot of the drugs she appropriated, but her state of affairs was so frustrating that she continued taking substantially larger dosages of medicines to feel better and quell her anxieties over losing her legs.
