Three detectives investigating an underground nightclub grisly murder must combat each of their own psychological issues while trying to catch a deceptive killer.
SYNOPSIS:
Detective Mike Coffee has a new case. It would be his last case. Suffering from insomnia, (and dreams of his homicide victims) he's a week away from transferring out of homicide to narcotics. However, his captain asks him to lead a very disturbing case which delays his unilateral move inside the department. Someone is murdered inside Club Underground. Mike is joined on the new case with Detective Richard Boone. They go inside the drug and sex club ran secretly by the majia. A woman is killed inside a bathroom stall and no one seen the attack. They comb security cameras and interview patrons. Mike struggles during the interragation from his lack of sleep and medications in the wee hours club. Richard Boone, his partner is a recovering alcoholic who is inticed into losing his sobriety around liquor. A third homicide detective is brought in to help. A beautiful Latin Detective Jesse Sanchez. But she has a vice also that could threaten the case. The law lady struggles with her sexual urges and the swingers club inside Club Underground
may have her in a vulnerable position with a suspect. A second murder happens and a grainy video outside the club parking lot isn't legible for identification. All three homicide detectives search in vain. A person of interest finally reveals themselves. However, murder number three is at hand. Mike coffee's beloved wife is kidnapped and held by the fiend in an act of defiance .The detectives personal demons blew thier cover inside Club Underground. Hairraising sequences and unpredictable conclusion. Dysfunction, isn't just a roller coaster ride on human behavior. The story points out not only the killer's frailties, but also law enforcement professionals. The film is original and bold. Crime horror/thriller with meat to catch movie consumers who love this mix! Not a film since Se7en has been bold enough to produce this multi genre.
