A former cop opens up his own paranormal agency to take advantage of seeing the dead since being struck by lightening as a child.

SYNOPSIS:

Sam Slater decides to stop chasing crooks and ducking bullets. He forms his own private investigations company with his beautiful masters degree smart partner Trixie Alexander. after the business opens a slew of calls come in for Sam to investigate all over the country. Sam and Trixie stay local. Sam, who as an adolescent coming home from school, was struck by a lightning bolt on the way home from school. After surviving mother natures strike, he could see and converse with the dead. After eight years of chasing criminals in the Philadelphia Police department, Sam desires to use his years long abilities. His first case is local. Trixie sets him up to rid a huge home of shadows that chased a young couple out of their dream home. The couple is on the hook for the six hundred thousand owed to the mortgage company. Sam has to go in for a night and compile evidence that indeed the home is haunted so John and Cindy Towns don't get stuck with a humongous dept. Sam is the single father of his eight year old little girl Darla. Sam new love interest Yamara gives him the support that his ex-wife never did. Sam's brother Richard Slater is a scientist working on finishing touches of his declassified works. Sam as fearless as he is dreams of traveling to London to finally crack the case of Jack the ripper because of his investitgator skills and ability to communicate with the dead.
