After a strange visit from an old man named Harris Burdick, the world of Stanley Smith, a quiet bookstore owner and wannabe author, begins to unravel.  When his entire house takes off like a rocket with his step-son inside, Stanley sets off on a fantastic journey to track him down, a voyage which leads him to discover the heart of inspiration within the depths of imagination.
