I really like the concept and title, Nikki Wheeler. I think you just need to add the stakes in the logline (what happens if they don't stop the nefarious crime ring).

Thank you for your feedback Maurice Vaughan. The answer is they will be killed. So I could update with, "...join forces to stop a nefarious crime ring before they are killed." What do you think?
