A young writer tries to land a writing job while struggling with writer's block. He returns to his lowly and dangerous NC Hometown with his distant brother, forced into a 9 to 5 trap at an underpaying restaurant franchise while also avoiding his overbearing mother and hidden feelings for his best friend.
