"The Anti-Forrest Gump." Harold's long career in the military and law enforcement have kept him close to some of the darkest moments in modern American history, but he'll be damned if that stops the bright smile on his face.
SYNOPSIS:
Harold recounts his career to a woman against her will, as she sits completely inebriated in a Las Vegas bar. Harold's story recounts his time in Nicaragua, aiding the United States against the Sandinista government, and finding his "business mentor" John, a "company man" who can seemingly make anything happen.
Harold then recounts how John had helped him join the LAPD, where Harold becomes a central figure in the infamous "Rampart Scandal." Harold believes his hot streak has come to a close, as his participation in the corruption leads to his arrest and imprisonment.
Harold loses contact with John in prison, believing that the deal he's made to minimize his jail time has cost him his career. All is saved however, when John returns to reward Harold for his selective snitching with a dream job. John has Harold hired as a limo driver to one of America's favorite movie producers, Harvey Weinstein.
