Plato's classic brought to the present: The young Aristodemos meets the philosopher Socrates by chance and is taken to an after-show party hosted by the rock star Agathon. Guests and host alike are hungover, but nontheless try a contest to see who can give the best eulogy to love. In the process, they are all cought up by their past, their personal neuroses and their amorous problems.
