SYNOPSIS:

It’s 1976 when Key West’s mythical weave of drugs, fun and mayhem bond Porcha Guevara, the smuggler goddess, and Travis Burner, the innocent 19-year-old from suburban California, who is there for the summer to visit his sister, Corky, girlfriend of one of Key West’s biggest smugglers, Loopy Lancaster. As Travis struggles through an odyssey of Homeric proportions, which includes anal gun-rape, several beatings, his first conscious encounter with aliens in Jamaica, a pirate infested dope run on a sailboat from Key West to Jamaica, and falling in love with Porcha’s more innocent sister, Liliana. Somehow, Porcha and her beloved meatloaf are missing from the house where she lives with Loopy, Corky, and a self-deprecating, but lovable, character named Lou, all of whom form special bonds as they search for Porcha and for the reason everyone on the island wants to find Porcha and eat her meatloaf. But still unknown to all of them, they’re really searching for the reason Porcha saves the human race from oblivion with her meatloaf.
