SYNOPSIS:

The Reluctant First Gentleman tells the story of Gilbert Conner, a teacher in his fifties whose life changes abruptly when his wife, Elizabeth, becomes the President of the United States. But he wants nothing to do with it. He's a simple man, a man that enjoys teaching carpentry at an ancient prep school. As Gilbert struggles to escape the spotlight, he finds himself caught amid a terrorist attack with potentially immense consequences at his school. Trying to find ways to defuse their bomb before it’s too late, Gilbert teams up with the gang of school kids who know every tiny detail and hidden passage in the school. As the President's only hope lies in her husband, that's hesitant over their future as a couple, Gilbert and the kids manage to go against all odds and save the world.
