A grieving soldier of fortune has less than 24 hours to infiltrate a secret weapons base to save his sister, a biologist scheduled for termination by the corporation who abducted and forced her to engineer a deadly virus.

SYNOPSIS:

It's the near future. A global pandemic rages, with 100% mortality for anyone infected.

For Bale Reed, ex-soldier of fortune, nothing matters. He works fence security to prevent quarantine breakout, but ever since the death of his sister Marilyn in an explosion at her lab, he's got nothing to live for. But when a hacker reveals stolen information that shows Marilyn is alive and being held in a secret military base, he recruits an old buddy from his special forces days and a young firebrand mercenary to infiltrate the base to save Marilyn and rescue the hacker's father, who has been subjected to unethical medical tests as part of a pharmaceutical corporation's attempts to create a vaccine for the pandemic. They also know that in less than 24 hours an anonymous buyer plans on taking the vaccine away, with plans to deliberately infect the uninfected Asian subcontinent in order to extort them with the vaccine.

But the mission goes awry when the hacker is targeted by assassins and Bale and his team are attacked by robotic sentries, anti-intrusion defenses, and a merciless security team led by one of Bale's former operatives. As Bale inches closer to finding Marilyn he discovers the pharmaceutical company has been tracking them the whole time.

With no time to lose, hordes of security after him, and exposed to the virus, Bale must use every ounce of training and resolve to complete the mission before succumbing to the virus, but when secrets are uncovered that implicate Marilyn in the creation of the original viral strain, he'll be forced to choose between rescuing her and saving the world.
