Searching the sniper, they find keys in his pocket and discover a car containing a notebook listing all their names as targets—and the name of Lawrence, the assistant they know from the past. Determined to uncover the truth, they travel to New York, confront Lawrence, and during a firefight, he is killed. The only thing they manage to take is his laptop—but it is password-protected.

Joshua reconciles with his estranged granddaughter, a talented hacker he hasn’t spoken to in seven years. She cracks the laptop, revealing that the true mastermind is Gabriel, a candidate for Governor of New York. Gabriel’s house is heavily guarded and alarmed, but the old killers pool their expertise and, guided by Joshua’s granddaughter, launch a daring assault.

Inside, they learn that Gabriel was not acting on his own—it was his sponsors who orchestrated the attacks to clean his reputation and secure his path to the governor’s office. But in a shocking turn, Joseph, the assistant of one of the slain killers, kills Gabriel to protect the old friends he respected, having long admired their skill and loyalty.
