Dracula terrorizes an Amish community. 

SYNOPSIS:

DRACULA AND THE AMISH

Dracula has fled to the states to escape a vampire hunter Martin Duff and soon learns about the Amish and decides to hunt there. However, Duff has followed him and while in an Amish Community he bites a woman named Alice Smith and she falls ill and begins to turn. The Bishop Henry Williams is visited by a Brauchau (Amish Witch) who warns him evil is upon them, but she is turned away.

Alice eventually dies, and is given an Amish funeral, Martin learns of how she died, and challenges the Bishop to gather the Amish for a nightly visit at her grave and invites her family’s English (non-Amish) neighbors the Keller’s. The Amish are shocked to see Alice walking like she was alive and when her family tries to comfort her Martin frightens her off with a cross, and the Keller’s Jake and Nancy realize she is a vampire and tell the Amish of vampires, Martin reveals the Vampire as Dracula himself. Wanting to use Alice to find him, her family refuses and she is staked.

Martin reveals when he was young, he had a fiancé and they ran into a stranger, who turned out to be Dracula, and when bite his fiancé and she killed herself just avoid turning into a vampire. Martin swore vengeance ever since. The Bishop has the community defend itself from Dracula, while the Bishop and the Smith family and the Keller’s search for Dracula, with the Keller’s visiting the Brauchau and learns Dracula is in the last place they would look but warns Dracula has attacked the Bishop’s family. This is true when The Bishops daughter Sarah falls ill, and is revealed to have been bitten by Dracula, as they use a blood transfusion with garlic and wolfsbane to keep her from turning a woman remembers Sarah telling them the cellar of the Church was off-limits due to storage. They realize Dracula is there and were invited by Sarah and Alice through mesmerizing them.

Finding Dracula’s coffin they prevent his return by placing Holy Water and a cross in it, Dracula kidnaps Sarah and Nancy and prepares to make his escape with Martin, Jake and the Bishop and members of the community closing in. As members see to Sarah and help Nancy Jake, Martin and the Bishop face Dracula and Martin kills Dracula avenging his fiancé’s death, and Sarah returns to normal.

As Martin bids his farewell, he leaves some books with information on vampires with the Amish in case Dracula rises again, while Dracula’s ashes are placed in an urn and covered with the Cross and buried with a tree and surrounded by wolfsbane and garlic.
