SYNOPSIS:

HARDLINE DRIVE

Alex Cameron is an ex-soldier turned security guard for tycoon Mason Maguire, thanks to his wife Layla Cameron, and his latest assignment is security for an upcoming comic con. Unknown to everyone, criminal mastermind James Prentice and his men manage to sneak in and take the people inside hostage. Prentice aims to rob the safe of a thousand dollars and ruin Maguire’s company in retaliation for his termination years ago when Maguire exposed some of his corrupt dealings.

Alex is the only one to slip away and soon finds aspiring down on his luck writer Troy Baker and the two attempt to contact police. After a few to many close calls the manage to call someone but Prentice’s men manage to mislead them, but soon they prove the threat is real. The police surround the building and attempt to enter to no avail as Prentice had all the entrances wired to explode but Alex and Troy attempt to disarm them and learn about Prentice and Maguire’s backgrounds and how they used to be partners but when Maguire found out that Prentice was doing some illegal things and even corrupting so Maguire exposed him and removed him and now wants revenge.

They soon find out that Ronald Tertian Maguire’s head of security is a traitor who has a history with Maguire and Troy defeats him, Alex finds out Prentice is holding Lyla hostage and confronts him, through a diversion Troy sets off one of the minor bombs allowing the police to enter and Alex to eliminate many of Prentice’s final henchmen. Prentice escapes but Alex catches up to him, fights him, and kills him. Maguire promotes Alex and endorses Troy to ensure his writing career especially after he writes a book about their ordeal, and Alex and Layla take time off.
